Well said. Better meant.
The greeting is warm. The terms are not. A collar like this understands that the most effective statements are made without raising the volume. Close to the throat and impossible to ignore, it brings polish, control, and the kind of confidence that changes the terms.
The Retro Moderne years knew how to make machinery seductive. Tubogas styles, inspired by industrial pipework and embraced in the 1940s, brought sleek movement and modern polish to jewelry boxes everywhere. This signed Kreisler collar still does the job beautifully: close fit, warm glow, sharp effect.

Inspired by a line from Rosemonde Gérard’s beloved poem, “Aujourd’hui plus qu’hier et bien moins que demain” — today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow — French jeweler Alphonse Augis transformed a literary sentiment into one of the twentieth century’s most enduring love tokens. Rather than engraving the full phrase, Augis distilled it to its essence: + qu’hier − que demain. A promise not of perfection, but of continuation.
Crafted in 18k yellow gold, this substantial French love medal is accented with five diamonds and three calibré-cut rubies set into the symbolic plus and minus signs. The textured ground catches the light with a radiant finish, while the generous 1-inch scale gives it real presence worn alone or layered with modern chains. Collectible, deeply wearable, and unmistakably French, the Augis love medal remains one of the most recognizable expressions of devotion in vintage jewelry.

Some things refuse to drift.
Time moves. Styles shift. Hands change. This stays put. A single point that has already survived its first life and did not bother to soften for the second. Immovable.
This Victorian-era rose cut diamond was originally set as a French stick pin and later converted into a wearable ring. The diamond retains its antique character, with a softly irregular profile and restrained presence that reflects 19th century French taste. A simple 14K gold shank brings the historic element forward without interference, allowing the stone’s age and continuity to remain the focus.

It seemed like a reasonable souvenir at the time.
By the turn of the 20th century, watch fobs had become surprisingly theatrical little objects. Men carried miniature daggers, globes, seals, pistols, horseshoes, and charms from their chains as shorthand for worldliness, ambition, luck, travel, or occasionally just personality. The line between practical accessory and decorative self-invention had become increasingly blurry by then.
This Victorian watch fob pendant combines a suspended dagger, draped chain, and floral orb into a piece that immediately changes the tone of whatever it’s layered with. The movement keeps it from feeling overly rigid, while the unusual silhouette gives it the kind of presence that tends to attract questions halfway through the evening. Dramatic in exactly the right proportion.

Not everything was as straightforward as it appeared.
Long before special effects, there were objects like this. A polished sphere of rock crystal, suspended from a chain, capable of turning the world upside down with nothing more than light and physics. Victorian jewelers called them pools of light, and more than a century later they retain much of the same fascination.
Carved from a polished sphere of rock crystal and suspended within a simple antique mounting, this Victorian pendant creates the optical inversion effect that gave pool of light jewelry its name. As light passes through the crystal, objects beyond the sphere appear reversed and transformed. Unadorned by elaborate metalwork, the crystal remains the focus, allowing the remarkable properties of the stone to take center stage.
Details
• Era: Victorian, c. 1880–1900
• Materials: Rock crystal with antique metal mounting
• Size: Approximately 3/4 inch diameter
• Style: Pool of Light pendant
• Hallmarks: None observed
• Condition: Clean antique condition with light wear consistent with age. Rock crystal remains smooth and displays the characteristic optical inversion effect associated with period pool of light jewelry. Mounting shows expected age-related wear.
• Styling Notes: Striking worn alone on a fine chain, watch chain, or layered among other antique charms and talismans. The crystal’s optical effect makes it an instant conversation piece for collectors and the merely curious alike.

There was one more thing.
Tiny enough to escape notice, Postscript rewards proximity. A diamond star interrupts an otherwise orderly composition, cutting across engraved scrollwork with unexpected confidence. Equal parts keepsake and punctuation mark, it turns a private object into something impossible to overlook.
Created during the transition between the Edwardian and Art Deco periods, Postscript borrows from both without belonging entirely to either. The engraved floral scrollwork and star-set diamond look backward, while the compact square silhouette and striking diagonal division anticipate the cleaner geometry to come. Open the locket and the construction reveals itself with equal care, from the engine-turned interiors to the reverse of the diamond setting itself. Discovery is part of the design.
• Era: Transitional (Edwardian–Art Deco), c. 1915–1925
• Material: 14k yellow gold with white gold/platinum-topped accent
• Stones: One old-cut diamond measuring approximately 3.3 mm (estimated 0.12–0.15 carats)
• Weight: 4.33 grams
• Measurements: Approximately 11/16 inch square
• Style: Two-tone diamond locket
• Hallmarks: None noted
• Condition: Very good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. The locket opens and closes securely. Light evidence of use is present commensurate with age.
• Styling Notes: The scale makes Postscript remarkably versatile. Wear it alone on a fine chain as an everyday signature, or incorporate it into a collected neck stack where its diamond star and two-tone construction reveal themselves over time.

She didn’t need to explain where she came from. It showed.
This piece speaks in recognition, not romance. Designed for an audience that understood status without performance, she carries authority through discipline and control. Victorian taste expressed with precision. Jewelry as signal, not sentiment.
Sourced in France, this ring centers a row of pearls anchored by deep garnets, arranged with deliberate restraint. Crafted in 900 coin silver and finished in gold plating, it reflects French Victorian priorities where balance mattered more than excess. Garnets were chosen for resolve and protection. Pearls carried lineage and continuity. Together, they formed compositions meant to be read instantly by the right eye.
The original French hallmark confirms its origin. On the hand today, it wears with clarity and assurance. Collected. Considered. Entirely uninterested in explanation.

Some names stay in circulation.
Made in France and engraved July 13, 1975, this tiny identity bracelet feels distinctly European in the way many personal pieces from the period do. Delicate proportions. Elongated pierced links.
The softly worn gold finish and airy openwork links give the bracelet a surprisingly modern feel despite its scale. Worn alongside heavier chains or a watch stack, it shifts entirely from childhood keepsake into something sharper and more intentional. The proportions are especially good for layering, with just enough detail to catch attention without overpowering the wrist.

The easiest thing you’ll wear all day.
The best jewelry has a way of making ordinary days feel a little more alive. Reach wraps the wrist in climbing tri-color gold leaves and flashes of brilliant light, bringing just enough sparkle to the grocery store, the office, dinner with friends, or anywhere else life happens. It isn’t waiting for an invitation. It’s already dressed.
Expansion bracelets became a mid-century favorite for good reason, combining clever engineering with everyday wearability in a way that felt distinctly modern. This example elevates the familiar form with substantial tri-color 10K gold leaf appliqués inspired by the Black Hills Gold tradition and two brilliant-cut cubic zirconia, proving that practicality and personality have never been mutually exclusive.
Details
• Era: Vintage, c. 1960s–1970s
• Origin: United States
• Maker: Spiedel
• Metal: 10K tri-color gold leaf appliqués on expansion bracelet
• Stones: Two round brilliant-cut cubic zirconia, approximately 7.25 mm each
• Hallmarks: Spiedel U.S.A. expansion band

• Condition: Very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and use. Expansion mechanism functions smoothly. The 10K gold leaf appliqués have been acid tested and confirm as approximately 10K gold. No gold hallmark was found.
• Styling Notes: Wear it alone as an everyday signature or stack it beside a favorite watch or slim bangles. The expansion design makes it the bracelet you’ll slip on without thinking, while the sculptural gold leaves and generous stones ensure it never feels ordinary.

A thin streak of bad ideas.
The handshake lasts a second too long. The second drink becomes a third. Plans improve after midnight. Slipped into a ring stack, it brings the exact hit of color that edits the whole conversation. Small, sharp, and fully aware of its effect.
Late ’80s to early ’90s in origin, and far too useful to stay there. A strong stack needs one piece that breaks the rhythm just enough. This is that piece.

She delights in accumulation: the stories collected, the invitations accepted, the reasons to stay out a little longer. Revel belongs to the woman who understands that abundance isn’t excess when each detail has been chosen with intention. Worn at the throat, its procession of floral links feels celebratory rather than precious, a reminder that delight itself can be a form of self-possession.
Crafted in gold fill during the late Victorian period, Revel departs from the strict repetition often found in book chains of the era. In this necklace, the traditional floral book-chain links give way to an alternate front section composed of circular connectors and openwork elements, creating a subtle shift in rhythm and emphasis. The result is both ornamental and surprisingly versatile, offering two distinct presentations depending on how it is worn. Even within an age celebrated for decoration, this necklace demonstrates that individuality often revealed itself in the details.

• Era: Victorian, c. 1885–1905
• Material: Gold Filled
• Hallmarks: None found
• Measurements: Approximately 16 inches in length
• Style: Floral book chain necklace
• Condition: Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear consistent with use. The original C-clasp remains secure, though it can be slightly particular when reengaging and benefits from a moment of attention when fastening.
• Styling Notes: Revel offers two distinct ways to wear it. Position the original C-clasp at the front for a more traditional Victorian presentation, or reverse it to showcase the differentiated circular floral section as the focal point. Elegant on its own at the collarbone, it also layers beautifully with longer chains and lockets.

She wraps, she curves, she glows. Just don’t expect her to tie herself in a bow.
This midcentury ring plays with light and form, folding like a ribbon caught mid-swish. Crafted in 10K gold and set with a rich oval pyrope-spessartine garnet, she balances sculptural elegance with just enough sass. The asymmetrical bypass shape creates movement from every angle, like a miniature piece of wearable design.
Marked 10K and likely American-made with an H maker's mark, Ribbonette is classic midcentury styling with a RetroStarr twist—bold, a little playful, and endlessly versatile.
