Vintage Valuations

What it's worth is only part of the story .

Thoughtful, research-informed evaluations for vintage and heirloom jewelry—designed to help you understand what you have and move forward with clarity.

It starts with a conversation.

Most people don’t start with clarity

It usually starts like this.

A few pieces, brought together without much context.

Some inherited. Some chosen. Some simply stayed with you.

You might not know what any of it is.

Or what matters. Or what to do with it.

Not everything looks valuable at first glance.

And that’s not the point.

The work starts with understanding what you have and having a clear place to begin.

What I do

I help you understand what you have.

Each piece is looked at in context, including how it was made, when it was made, and what it may represent. I assess materials, construction, and design details to understand what is meaningful, what may carry value, and what could be easy to miss at first glance.

The goal is a clear, informed understanding of what you have, with nothing important overlooked. From there, you can make decisions with confidence, whether that means keeping something, documenting it, reshaping it, or letting it go.

Start where it makes sense for you.

Initial Consultation

A focused conversation to understand what you have and what you want to do with it. Whether it’s one piece or several, we look at the bigger picture and clarify the right next step.

Collection Review

A deeper evaluation of a group of pieces, with context on materials, era, and what may carry value. Ideal for situations that need more clarity before making decisions.

Legacy Report

A documented, design-forward record of your jewelry, capturing its story, context, and potential. Created for individual pieces or groups that deserve a more complete understanding.

Some things are easy to overlook.

A quick answer can tell you what something is made of. It won’t tell you who wore it, where it’s been, or why it stayed.

Pieces stay with you for a reason. They carry context, memory, and meaning that can be easy to miss if you don’t know what you’re looking at, especially when it hasn't been written down.

The Legacy Report is where that gets captured. It brings together research, context, and story into something clear, lasting, and yours to keep.

About Dana

A collector first, a guide when you need one.

I’ve spent years studying and sourcing vintage jewelry, with formal training through GIA as a Graduate Diamonds professional. My focus has always been on how pieces are made, where they come from, and what sets them apart.

That perspective comes from working with real collections and the stories behind them. How pieces are kept, passed down, worn, or set aside over time.

It allows me to look closely, ask the right questions, and help you understand what you have and what to do next.

Let's start with a conversation.

A consultation is the simplest way to understand what you have and how to move forward.
